I started this blog in 2012 wanting to basically share my latest book reviews and goings on in life. While I still share those things, my blog has really grown into something much greater than I had ever planned for. It has allowed me to stay home full time with my two littles while still earning an income. I have made so many friends with readers and other bloggers that I can’t imagine life without it anymore. It has become part of who I am. It is not a hobby, it is a lifestyle. One that I enjoy.
If you enjoy coffee, babies, books, fashion, food or fitness, you’ve come to the right place. I am a blessed mother to 2 under 2 who loves to share my latest book and fashion obsessions while being real and sharing my parenting accomplishments and failures. Whether it is sharing how I lost my baby weight in under four months or my favorite shoes, I will remain a mother just the same as you.
A little about me:
I’m a 20-something newish mom living in Alabama. I’ve been married to my love – Ryan, for (almost) 5 years. We have a 2-year-old son and a 1-year old daughter and our expecting our third child in November. We have one little 4lb. fur baby named “Pippa”. I graduated with a degree in psychology and have been a bookworm all my life. I worked for a web company for 4 years as their web content manager and social media extraordinaire, but I quit my job just before I had my daughter to be a full-time mom and blogger. I grew up dancing until I was 23, although you can still find me dancing in the kitchen and down grocery store aisles. I have had a love for all things Parisian since my husband and I traveled to Paris on our honeymoon and we both love to travel but don’t do it enough.
My babies are my world. I am so thankful to be able to stay at home with them and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love sweet tea and dressing up in all things girly, but I also enjoy a good pair of yoga pants and t-shirt like any true SAHM. I am semi-frugal and a bit of a clean freak, but I am also a book hoarder and terrible drawer organizer. I love to decorate and get a little crafty, but only when the mood strikes. I have a weird obsession with Gilmore Girls and truly believe it could have been successful for another 10 seasons.
Please grab a cup of coffee and stay for a while.
