Today, I want to talk about food. It is something that has been heavily on my mind lately. Not in an “I want to eat all the cake, candy popcorn” kind of way, but in the “what are they doing to our food” kind of way. Ever since watching a food document a couple of years ago (that ruined me, by the way) I have been so paranoid about the foods that we eat. Even some of our healthy foods are being pumped with steroids and hormones and nearly all of our food is full of preservatives. We are living in a world that idolizes money – even at the expense of our own health. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good chicken nugget and fries meal from time to time and I definitely love my sweets, but I have been striving to live a more unprocessed life. For myself and for my children.
