On The Go Snack Ideas + Box Tops for Education

January 21, 2016

This week has been really crazy. We have been going non-stop every day running from one direction to another. The older Hampton gets, the more I realize that our life will continue to get busier. He will become involved in sports and then Sophie will begin ballet lessons and so on. Toddler tantrums have also been at an all-time high these past couple of weeks. I’ve noticed that they are worse when he is hungry. I have started carrying lots of snacks with me when we go out to prevent fits when I sense one coming. It can be hard to come up with snack ideas, but here are a few of our favorites:

Go-Gurt

Cereal Bars

Cereal

Crackers

These are generally mess-free snacks that are really easy to grab and go. I try to keep some in Hampton’s backpack and some in my purse as well so that we are never short of supply. When I was touring our local Winn Dixie store the other day, I picked up all of these items and discovered that many of them were participating eBox Tops products. Now through the end of the month, when you buy any 2 of these products, you can earn 5 eBoxTops in addition to the cut out box tops for your school.

Box Tops

Although my children are not school age yet, I remember my mom always clipping these for us when we were younger. We would carry them in a baggie to school every few months and give them to our teachers. I felt like I was making such a difference and it was very rewarding for my little child-sized heart. I can’t wait to do this for our schools once our children start. But, I’m not even going to think about that right now. Nope. I won’t.

Snack Ideas for Toddlers

This is the easiest way to make money for your schools! Don’t forget to register for eBoxTops at WinnDixie.com/boxtops!

Comment on this post after you have checked out the eBoxTops program and let me know which products you would buy to earn money for your school for a chance to win $15 paypal cash! Good luck!

I always keep something in my purse for my little guy. Then months later I look inside my purse only to find that it’s still there… Lol. I need to be better at taking his snacks out. You just never know when they will be hungry.

I almost always carry a granola bar everywhere I go. And at home I like cereal for snacking – my favorite is Life.
