Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Parfait Recipe

February 19, 2016

Happy Friday, friends! I don’t know about you, but I am so ready for the weekend, but first, let’s talk breakfast. I love trying to put a fun spin on breakfast because for me, it is the least exciting meal of the day. The one I look forward to the least. In fact, I have to force myself to eat a little something because I am just not a big breakfast person. I love breakfast foods, but I am not all that hungry when I wake up in the mornings. Putting a little twist on breakfast makes it more enjoyable for me. That’s where this yogurt parfait recipe comes in…

Yogurt Parfait Recipe

I love yogurt parfaits as a sweet treat or dessert, so when I came across Nature Valley’s Chocolate Oat Clusters cereal, I got the idea to make a strawberry and chocolate parfait. I keep greek yogurt and strawberries around the house all the time, so this easy 3 ingredient recipe was so simple to make  and meant to be. Not to mention it is delicious! Just ask my dad who “had to have one.”

Ingredients

What you need:

2 to 3 Strawberries (washed and cut up)

Greek yogurt

Nature Valley’s Chocolate Oat Clusters

Directions:

I spooned my yogurt into a mason jar and topped it off with the chopped strawberries and chocolate oat clusters cereal crunched up a little bit. I love chocolate covered strawberries and this reminded me of them – making my breakfast really enjoyable!

Strawberry Parfait

This yummy new cereal comes in 3 flavors, but my favorite is the Chocolate Oat Clusters.
