Finger Lickin’ Good Gluten Free Sweet Snack Mix

June 6, 2016

Our household is a big fan of snack mixes and trail mixes because we spend half of our life in the car (and I know I don’t know alf of it yet) and these make-ahead snacks are so easy to pack and go! I love experimenting and making different mixes using different things and I try to be healthy when I can. I love using dried fruits and often times chocolate, but I since General Mills cereals have gone Gluten Free, I was inspired to make a gluten free sweet snack mix!

Kid Friendly Gluten Free Sweet Snack Mix

Ingredients: (all ingredients are gluten free)

Dried Cranberries

Honey Nut Chex TM

Chocolate Cheerios®

Gluten Free Gummy Bears (just for fun)

Gluten Free Cereal

When making snack mixes, you have unlimited possibilities, but we have enjoyed this one over the weekend while driving around town and in between birthday parties/house hunting, etc. It is so easy to throw together and if you have any gluten allergies or friends with allergies, this is a great option for them!

Gluten Free Sweet Snack Mix

I love that General Mills cereals have gone gluten free with the latest additions – Lucky CharmsTM and Chocolate Cheerios®! I love eating Lucky CharmsTM for breakfast on occasion and so I am excited to see they made the list! Now you can get a $1 coupon for General Mills cereals when you purchase two boxes! Grab your coupon HERE and leave me a comment telling me which Gluten Free Cereal you want to try in order to win $15 paypal cash!

Oh I am so excited for the Lucky Charms and Honey Nut Cheerios! I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease about 10 years ago, and have missed those so much! So excited they are gluten free now and I can have them again! landfjacobson @ charter. net

My kids don’t get cereal very often, so they would eat pretty much any of these new gluten free kinds
